Directions
From Cape Town to the Big Hole:
Follow the N12 which becomes Memorial Road. Follow this all the way
to the Honoured Dead Memorial at the Traffic Circle. Turn left into
the traffic circle until you find Dalham Road. Turn into Dalham Road
and go straight, past the Municipality and the Tourist Information Centre,
all the way until Dalham meets with Lennox Street. Turn left. Lennox
becomes Long Street. At West Circular Road turn right. Go past George
and South Circular Road until you get The Big Hole parking lot on the
left.
From Johannesburg to the Big Hole:
Follow the N12 which becomes Transvaal Road. Turn Right into ceceil
Sussman and then left into Bultfontein Road. Turn left into North Circular
Road and left again into West Circular. The Big Hole Parking is on your
right.
From Upington to the Big Hole:
Follow the N8 which becomes Schmidtsdrift Road. Continue straight until
this becomes Long Street. Turn left on West circular Road past George
Street and South Circular Road. Continue straight. The Big Hole parking
is on your left.
From Bloemfontein/Kimberley Airport to the Big Hole:
Follow the N8 which becomes Oliver Road. Pass the Diamond Pavilion Mall
on the left and drive straight until you get the Honoured Dead Memorial
at the traffic circle. Turn left into the traffic circle until you find
Dalham Road. Turn into Dalham Road and go straight, past the Municipality
and the Tourist Information Centre, all the way until Dalham meets with
Lennox Street. Turn left. Lennox becomes Long Street. At West Circular
Road turn right. Go past George and South Circular Road until you get
The Big Hole parking lot on the left.
